About Us

Opened by Richard and Sophie in 2019, Riverside Health Food Shop is nestled away in beautiful west Wales.

We offer a wide range of organic foods, essentials, whole foods, herbs and spices, teas and coffees, essential oils, natural makeup, natural cleaning products, refills, organic wine and spirits, chocolate and treats, vitamins and supplements. 

Where our food comes from, how it is made and grown, and how the packaging impacts the environment is important to us. Knowing that we really are what we eat, eating well has never been so important.

Organic foods, whole foods and old-style cooking is really important to us, with the odd tin of something quick and simple for those busy nights, but without losing the quality ingredients.

We pride ourselves on great customer service, if you can't find it in-store (or online) drop us a message and we will do our very best to find it for you.

Supporting independent businesses and those with good ethics is at the heart of what we do, and we enjoy working with workers cooperatives and local shops along our high street.

We decided to go online in 2024 to help grow our little shop without losing the values we hold dear.

We have a small but wonderful team who help us keep the doors open 6 days a week, all with different health backgrounds, so a font of knowledge readily available.
We hope that through this online shop we can still offer amazing customer service, and you can still support a small, independent, family run business.
