Biona Organic Creamed Coconut can be used to add richness and flavour to many sweet or savoury dishes. It is not hydrogenated and has no added stabilisers or emulsifiers.
To prepare homemade coconut milk simply dissolve 50g of creamed coconut in 100ml of warm water. Alternatively, add a piece of the block to homemade curries or other sweet and savoury dishes for a deliciously creamy coconut flavour.
Our coconuts are sourced from the tropical island of Sri Lanka. The farm where our coconut products are harvested is rich in biodiversity. The families that run the plantation own cattle, who roam freely and whose dung, along with the coconut husks, acts as a fertilizer for the many species of other plants growing in the surrounding areas.
