Bran is the outer husk of the wheat grain, which is removed during the production of white flour. The wheat germ is similarly removed, yet these elements contain most of the nutrients of the wheat grain. Use as a nutritional supplement &/or 'nutty' flavouring in any cooked or baked recipes.
